What is abdominoplasty?
It is commonly called a “tummy tuck”, it is an operation to remove excess fat and skin from the abdomen.
The aim is to produce a tighter, flatter stomach and it may partially reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
How do you know that you are the right candidate?
if you have any of the underlying conditions, you may want to consider the option.
- Abdominal skin that is excess or sagging.
- A protruding abdomen that is out of proportion to the rest of the body.
- Abdominal muscles that have been separated and weakened.
Duration of Surgery and Anesthesia?
Approximately 2-5 hours.
Back to work in two to six weeks. Strenuous activity in eight to twelve weeks.
Longevity of Results?
Permanent, however, weight loss or gain and pregnancy can affect the results.
This is the solution to all those hanging aprons of the ‘mummy belly’. Muscle tightening done during the procedure gives you a nice, trim look. It can be combined with Vaser liposuction for refining the results. The final scar can easily be concealed below the undergarments.
